Xiaomi Automobile Partners with NIO for Charging Network Expansion

Today, Xiaomi Automobile officially announced a strategic partnership with NIO to enhance their charging and energy replenishment network. In an official post on Weibo, Xiaomi Automobile confirmed this collaboration, stating that over 14,000 NIO charging piles have been integrated into Xiaomi’s charging map, allowing real-time viewing of dynamic data for NIO charging stations within the map. Additionally, the feature supports scanning and charging with the Xiaomi Automobile APP.
According to IT Home, during the 2024 NIO Power Day event in August, NIO officially unveiled the ‘Power to Every County’ plan. The goal is to achieve ‘Power to Every County’ by June 30, 2025, meaning NIO charging coverage will extend to all county-level administrative regions across the country.

Xiaomi Automobile has currently released only the SU7 series model, achieving a delivery volume of 100,000 units within 230 days. Xiaomi’s second model and first SUV model, the YU7, is expected to hit the market in June-July 2025, which is anticipated to further increase market share.
